Tyler is  a perfect 10-0 against Ritchie County since May of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday.  Reese Davis was  incredible,  going a perfect 5-for-5 with one  home run, three  stolen bases,  and seven  RBI. Those  three  stolen bases gave  him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of  Colby Nichols, who  got on base  in three of his five plate appearances with one  triple, one  run,  and one  RBI.
 Tyler was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .433. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Wirt County only posted a  batting average of  .292.
Meanwhile, Ritchie County lost  16-6 to East Fairmont on Saturday. The Rebels have struggled against the Bees recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.
 Ritchie County saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Jonas Davis, who  went 2-for-3 with two  RBI. Another  was  Tony McBrayer, who  scored a  run while going 1-for-4.
 Ritchie County's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Tyler, their  win (their first of the  season) made their record 1-2.
