Milford proved they can win big last Friday (they won by 28) and on Sunday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Burncoat Patriots, sneaking past 95-93. The Scarlet Hawks' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Milford to victory, but perhaps none more so than Andrew Rivera, who almost dropped a double-double on 38 points and nine boards. Rivera has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last three times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Gus Coutinho, who dropped a double-double on 29 points and 18 rebounds.

Despite the loss, Burncoat still got an impressive performance from Cheyton Marshall, who posted 28 points. Those 28 points gave Marshall a new career-high. Nytel Johnson was another key player, putting up 12 points.

The victory (which was Milford's fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-1. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 80.8 points per game. As for Burncoat, their loss dropped their record down to 4-2.

Milford wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 74-50 defeat against Attleboro on the 3rd. As for Burncoat, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 74-53 win against North on the 3rd.
