The Covenant won the last time they faced Hargrave Military Academy and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Eagles blew past the Tigers 11-3. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles.

Latham Clark and Phillip Venton did most of the damage at the plate: Clark went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and one double, while Venton scored a run and stole three bases while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances. That's the most RBI Clark has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Evan Pariseau, who scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in two of his five plate appearances.

The Covenant's record is now 8-4. As for Hargrave Military Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.

Looking ahead, The Covenant will host Regents at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Eagles' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Lions have averaged an impressive 10.1 runs per game this season.
