The Coffee Trojans had already proven themselves in the regular season, and didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They took down Creekside 31-14 on Wednesday. Coffee's victory was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.
Coffee was led to victory by Fred Brown and Maurice Hansley. Brown rushed for 183 yards and a touchdown, while Hansley rushed for 90 yards and two touchdowns on only eight carries. Those 90 rushing yards set a new season-high mark for him.
Coffee pushed their record up to 15-0 with that victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Creekside, their defeat ended a seven-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-2.
Coffee does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Creekside also has no future games currently scheduled.
