They were a single  point away from ending the streak, but they lost  an   8-7 heartbreaker at the hands of the Pacifica Tritons. The Dons were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tritons apparently hadn't forgotten their  defeat the last time these teams played  back in September of 2024.
Santa Barbara's loss dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Pacifica, the  victory was  the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-7.
