Dixon won against Heide Trask last Wednesday with seven runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Thursday. Kailei Dawsey made a splash while hitting and pitching. She struck out nine batters over eight innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off six hits. She has been consistent : she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in five consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 2-for-5.
