There's no place like home for Tuscarawas Valley, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Monday. They were the clear victor by a 50-27 margin over the Claymont Mustangs on Wednesday. The Trojans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine games by 23 points or more this season.

Tuscarawas Valley had a senior duo take command as Leah Bourquin went 8 for 11 en route to 20 points and three steals and Kaleigh Norris went 7 of 10 on her way to 17 points and eight rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Bourquin has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Elli Wallick, who posted five points in addition to seven assists and three steals.

Tuscarawas Valley pushed their record up to 10-3 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 20.7 points per game. As for Claymont, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season.

Tuscarawas Valley has already played their next contest (against Waterford), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Claymont will square off against Garaway at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Claymont is facing Garaway at the right time seeing as Garaway is stuck on a 13-game losing streak.
