Pingree has been on a difficult stretch since their win on September 17. They fell just short of the Landmark Vikings by a score of 2-1 on Friday. Pingree were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Landmark apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Pingree's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6-2. As for Landmark, the victory got them back to even at 2-2-1.

Pingree will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Berwick Academy at 4:30 p.m. on the 15th. As for Landmark, they will take on Hyde at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
