In what's become a running theme this season, the Eula Pirates gave their fans yet another huge win on Friday. They claimed a resounding 76-13 victory over Moran on the road. Winning may never get old, but Eula sure is getting used to it with their ninth in a row.
Ellis Hise and Caleb York certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Hise scored six points along with eight rebounds, while York scored two points along with two steals.
Eula's win was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 25-3. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 32.6 points. As for Moran, they are on a 15-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-16.
Eula will head out on the road to square off against May at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Eula's defense has only allowed 29.9 points per game this season, so May's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Moran, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Cross Plains at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Moran focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 36 on Friday.
