King's Christian came out on top against The Pilgrim Academy on Saturday thanks in part to the team's impressive five-run first inning. The Knights were the clear victors by a 10-1 margin over the Pioneers. Considering the Knights have won ten matches by more than eight runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.
Aiden Lawlor was excellent, going 1-for-4 with one home run and three RBI. That home run marked the first that he has launched this season. Another player making a difference was Matty Pancurak, who went 2-for-4 with two runs and one stolen base.
