Nobody could stop Patton Mitchell on Thursday as he pitched seven innings while giving up just one earned (and five unearned) runs off four hits. As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was his third in a row with more than five strikeouts. On the season, he has an ERA of 2.18 over 35.3 innings pitched.
