The Bensalem Fighting Owls won the last time they faced the Council Rock North Indians, and things went their way on Friday too. Bensalem walked away with a 58-51 win over Council Rock North. Given Bensalem's advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 46th, while Council Rock North is ranked 347th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
It was another big night for Jaidyn Moffitt, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and ten rebounds. He is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last ten games he's played. Another player making a difference was Noah Morris, who scored 11 points.
Bensalem is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-2 record this season. As for Council Rock North, their loss dropped their record down to 6-9.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bensalem will take on Pennsbury at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Pennsbury has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Council Rock North, they will head out on the road to square off against Council Rock South at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
