The Jenison Wildcats's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their fifth straight loss. They fell 57-44 to Caledonia. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Jenison in their matchups with Caledonia: they've now lost seven in a row.
Among those leading the charge was Jaiden Googins, who scored 19 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kyan Vanderwoude, who scored 12 points.
Jenison bumped their record down to 1-10 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Caledonia, their win bumped their record up to 6-4.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Jenison will challenge West Ottawa at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Caledonia, they will head out on the road to face off against Grand Haven at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
