Harmony School of Innovation Sugar Land had to hit the road for their first game and sadly it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They ended up on the wrong side of a rough 61-36 walloping at the hands of School of the Woods on Friday.
School of the Woods' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kieran Knight, who scored 21 points along with three steals. The contest was Knight's sixth in a row with at least ten points. Tyler Gwinn was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.
Harmony School of Innovation Sugar Land's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for School of the Woods, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-9.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Harmony School of Innovation Sugar Land will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Bob Hope at 7:00 p.m. on January 23, 2024. As for School of the Woods, they will play host again and welcome Varsity Opponent, where tip off is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
