Stringer has been on the road for two straight, but on Tuesday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Mississippi School for the Deaf Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
Last Friday, Stringer was beaten by Enterprise 56-25.
Meanwhile, Mississippi School for the Deaf was fully in charge on Saturday, breezing past Illinois School for the Deaf 45-15 on the road. With Mississippi School for the Deaf ahead 26-5 at the half, the match was all but over already.
Mississippi School for the Deaf's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jarmariah Johnson led the charge by scoring 19 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Johnson has scored all season. DeSiare Ingram was another key contributor, scoring 15 points.
Stringer's defeat was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 2-8. As for Mississippi School for the Deaf, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-6.
Stringer was able to grind out a solid victory over Mississippi School for the Deaf when the teams last played back in February of 2016, winning 49-37.
