Ecker has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times she's played. Another player making a difference was Ava Gunnells, who scored 15 points.
Meanwhile, Sweet Home strolled past the Flames with points to spare on Monday, taking the game 59-41. Given Sweet Home's advantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 83rd, while the Flames are ranked 404th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
