The Atlantic City Vikings won against the Wildwood Catholic Crusaders last Friday with 52 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Saturday. Atlantic City walked away with a 52-45 victory over Wildwood Catholic. The win was nothing new for Atlantic City as they're now sitting on four straight.
Atlantic City's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Khajuan Roseborough led the charge by scoring 25 points along with six rebounds and three steals. Roseborough has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last seven times he's played. Chris Finks was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with three steals.
Atlantic City is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-3 record this season. As for Wildwood Catholic, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-11.
Atlantic City and Atlantic County Institute of Tech will face off at 7:00 p.m. on January 22nd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Atlantic County Institute of Tech will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps New Jersey Rankings (they are ranked 336th, while Atlantic City is ranked 63rd). As for Wildwood Catholic, they will head out on the road to face off against St. Augustine Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. St. Augustine Prep is out to stop a three-game streak of losses at home.
