The T.L. Hanna Yellow Jackets will head out on the road to challenge the Mauldin Mavericks at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in T.L. Hanna's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last nine matches.
Last Friday, T.L. Hanna beat Woodmont 56-45.
Meanwhile, Mauldin had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They secured a 58-54 W over Woodmont.
Mauldin's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jordan Sullivan, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 13 rebounds. Owen Stewart was another key contributor, scoring 16 points.
T.L. Hanna pushed their record up to 18-4 with that victory, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Mauldin, the win got them back to even at 10-10.
T.L. Hanna strolled past Mauldin in their previous meeting on January 10th by a score of 68-54. The rematch might be a little tougher for T.L. Hanna since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
