Franklin County came out on top against Patrick Henry on Wednesday thanks in part to the team's impressive eight-run sixth inning. The Eagles were the clear victors by a 13-2 margin over the Patriots. The win was just business as usual for the Eagles, who after three games remain undefeated this season.

Franklin County's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Patrick Henry, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.

Coming up, Franklin County will head out to face off against Halifax County at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Patrick Henry, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Cave Spring at 5:00 p.m. on April 7.
