The Green Level Gators put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with a 61-51 win over Garner.
Green Level's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Israel Eatman, who scored 19 points along with six assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Eatman has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Tye Cain, who scored 13 points along with two steals.
Green Level pushed their record up to 15-0 with that win, which was their sixth straight on the road. As for Garner, their loss dropped their record down to 9-6.
Green Level will head out on the road to challenge Middle Creek at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Middle Creek focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up eight last Friday. As for Garner, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Southeast Raleigh at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Southeast Raleigh's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last 11 contests.
