Kennedy scaled the state rankings by moving to 495 from 608 this week, the biggest jump in Mission Valley. The Titans were able to move up by topping Moreau Catholic 36-14.
Washington took down Mission San Jose 45-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
American's Ryan Barker and Deangelo Cox have formed a dream team this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Barker has thrown for 272 yards this season, while Cox has 10 catches for 143 yards. Irvington's Jared Lozoya leads the league in rushing yards with 782.
The Mariners are currently in first, while Newark Memorial is in fifth.
Kennedy made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 6,926 from 8,625. The improvement was the result of a 36-14 victory over Moreau Catholic last week.
