Grady's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Hays Rush, who scored 8 points. Another player making a difference was Gavin West, who scored 5 points.
Grady's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Alamo Navajo, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.
Grady won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Carrizozo at 5:30 p.m. on December 1st. As for Alamo Navajo, they will head out on the road to face off against Magdalena at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
