Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lake Arthur). Couldn't have asked for a better way to wrap up 2024 than the 64-22 stomp they got against the Elton Indians. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Tigers considering their 25-point performance the game before.

The win snapped Lake Arthur's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 4-12 record. As for Elton, their loss was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-10.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Lake Arthur Tigers take on the Eunice Bobcats at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Lake Arthur is facing Eunice at the right time seeing as Eunice is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Elton, they will head out to square off against Teurlings Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on January 6, 2025.
