Mahomet-Seymour had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. Everything went their way against the Mt. Zion Braves on Friday as they made off with a 3-0 win. Considering Mahomet-Seymour have won nine matchups by more than two goals this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Mt. Zion with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Hannah Creel, Grace Binkley, and Gwen Cambron.

The victory made it two in a row for Mahomet-Seymour and bumps their season record up to 15-5-2. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those two games. As for Mt. Zion, the loss snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 14-7 record.

As of now, neither Mahomet-Seymour nor the Braves have any future games scheduled.
