Softball Recap: Wilson Central Has No Trouble Against Beech

Wilson Central had won three straight on the road, but on Tuesday they bumped up to 13-4-1 to make it four. They were the clear victors by a 17-1 margin over the Beech Buccaneers. The result was nothing new for the Wildcats, who have now won seven games by seven runs or more so far this season.

As for Beech, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-9. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat they have suffered against Wilson Central since April 8, 2019.

For Beech's part, they saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brianna Buckley, who went 1-for-3 with one home run. That home run was Buckley's first of the season.

Coming up, Wilson Central will welcome Hendersonville at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Commandos' pitching crew has only allowed 2.6 runs per game this season, so the Wildcats' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Beech, they will venture away from home to challenge White House at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
