Austin Dennis made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he struck out eight batters over five innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off five hits. Those eight strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring three runs and stealing three bases while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. Those runs marked the first that he's scored this season.

In other batting news, UME Preparatory Academy got a massive performance out of Josiah Mejia, who went 1-for-3 with four RBI, one stolen base, and one run. The dominant performance gave Mejia a new career-high in RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Mason McCoy, who scored three runs and stole two bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.
