Milton waltzed into their contest on Thursday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They breezed past the Gainesville Red Elephants to the tune of 72-41. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 16 matches by 24 points or more this season.

Londyn Walker was her usual excellent self, going 6-for-13 en route to 18 points and eight assists. Chassity Mccammon was another key player, dropping a double-double with 12 points and ten boards.

Gainesville's loss came despite strong showings from Shailyn Jones and Jaucelyn Smith. Jones posted 16 points, while Smith had 14 points.

Milton's win was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 20-6. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.9 points over those games. As for Gainesville, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-11.

Milton didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, an 82-26 victory against Roswell on the 14th. As for Gainesville, they have also already played their next contest, a 67-53 loss against Lanier on the 14th.
