Klondike was able to crack the Top 25 in the state rankings this week after besting Sands. The Cougars came in at 24 in the state poll after placing at number 28 last week.
Klondike extended the longest winning streak in 1A 6 Man 1 Region I District 4 (6 Man) this week by beating the Mustangs, 53-8. The victory was the fifth in a row for Chad Fouts' team.
Borden's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Jared Smith threw for 52 and two touchdowns and TJ Basquez had 29 yards receiving. On the ground Basquez chipped in 53 yards.
Borden's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Coyotes feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Tanner Richey has thrown for 325 yards and four touchdowns this season, while Basquez has 13 catches for 264 yards. Richey also leads the league in rushing with 2166 yards.
The Coyotes took down Community Christian 60-0 last week, the largest margin of any game. Smith ran for 17 yards in the win.
