Friday just wasn't the day for The Cibola Raiders''s offense. They were dealt a 35-0 loss at the hands of Kellis.
Despite the loss, Cibola still got an impressive performance from Ty Stout, who threw for five yards and three touchdowns while completing 100% of his passes.
Kellis was led to victory by Tristan Bacon and Ronald Coty iii. Bacon rushed for 135 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries, while Coty iii rushed for 124 yards and three touchdowns on only 12 carries. Coty iii hasn't dropped below two rushing touchdowns for three straight games.
Cibola's loss was their 11th straight on the road (dating back to last season), which bumped their record down to 1-9. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 8.0 points per game. As for Kellis, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 9-1.
Cibola does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Kellis will head out on the road to face off against Millennium at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
