Northeast came up short against Alburnett last Friday, falling 38-49. It was a tough break for Northeast, who improved upon an already decent score from the game before but lost both times.
Meanwhile, Beckman had a bit more than a touchdown to spare in a 27-20 victory over Anamosa. The success made it back-to-back wins for Beckman.
Beckman's win lifted them to 2-2 while Northeast's defeat dropped them down to 0-4. We'll see if Beckman's success rolls on or if Northeast are able to steal their positive momentum.
