The Page Pirates were the 69-29 winner over the Eastern Guilford Wildcats when they last played one another back in December of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. Page lost to Eastern Guilford on the road by a decisive 58-44 margin on Tuesday.
Several Pirates players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Zamaria Booker, who scored 12 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Hailee Cook, who scored 12 points.
Page's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Eastern Guilford, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.
Page will head out on the road to face off against Southern Guilford at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Eastern Guilford, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Williams at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
