He was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 57 yards. Another player making a difference was Rece Faulkner, who picked up 137 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Meanwhile, Boyd was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 39-12 loss at the hands of Callisburg.
Despite the loss, Boyd had strong showings from Will McIntire, who threw for 207 yards and a touchdown, and Hunter Etter, who picked up 109 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Boyd wouldn't let Callisburg keep a hold of the ball as they managed to force two fumbles. Boyd can thank Donald Ray and Noah Stevens for forcing both of them.
Ponder's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Boyd, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.
