Lafayette Jefferson has not had much luck with Benton Central recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.
Lafayette Jefferson got a good chunk of their points from the dynamic duo of
Amani Byrd and
Shaylee Barrett, who each put up six points. Barrett also led the team in assists with three. She held things down on the boards with five rebounds.
Lafayette Jefferson has been struggling recently, as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-14 record this season. As for Benton Central, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 17-3 record this season.
