In what's become a running theme this season, the Cedar Bluff Tigers gave their fans yet another huge victory on Tuesday. They breezed by Jacksonville Christian Academy on the road to the tune of 62-22. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 44-13.
Jacksonville Christian Academy's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Addy Lee, who scored 11 points along with seven rebounds and four steals. That was a full 50% of Jacksonville Christian Academy's points, marking the 16th time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Cedar Bluff is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 17-7 record this season. As for Jacksonville Christian Academy, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-11.
Cedar Bluff will be playing at home against Gaylesville at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Gaylesville will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Alabama Rankings (they are ranked 429th, while Cedar Bluff is ranked 184th). As for Jacksonville Christian Academy, they will head out on the road to take on Valley Head at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
