The biggest upset of the week belonged to Lynwood, who took down 557th ranked Lynwood, 29-17.
Dominguez moved up to 570 from 621 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in San Gabriel Valley. A 29-17 win over the Knights helped the Dons improve their standing.
Downey's dynamic duo of Jorge Reyna and Justin Huff proved tough for Warren to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Reyna threw for 159 yards and two touchdowns and Huff had 74 yards receiving. Tristan Esparza helped Downey's passing attack out by catching three balls for 53 yards.
Deonte Dixon was the most productive running back in the league this week. He ran for 183 yards on 29 carries as Paramount defeated the Bears. Teammate Alex Turner added to the ground attack by rushing for 89 yards.
Gahr's Caleb Baumann and Christian Pabico have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Baumann has thrown for 1548 yards this season, while Pabico, a 6-foot-0 receiver, has 25 catches for 497 yards. Downey's Huff leads the league in rushing yards with 776.
A big matchup in San Gabriel Valley this week will be when Jack Williams' team takes on the Gladiators. The Vikings are in second place, while Gahr is in third place.
The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when Downey takes on Greg Marshall's team. The Vikings have allowed 114 points this season, while the Gladiators have given up 136. Downey allowed 7 points last week as it beat Warren.
The Pirates extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Gahr, 21-7. The victory was the fifth in a row for Paramount.
