After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Centerville, Neches was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They never let the Martinsville Pirates get on the board and left with an 11-0 victory. The contest marked the Tigers' most dominant win of the season so far.

The victory snapped Neches' losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 6-7 record. As for Martinsville, they are on an 18-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Neches will challenge Kennard at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Martinsville, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Broaddus at 6:00 p.m. on the 22nd.
