The New Way Christian Academy Eagles suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Friday. They had to suffer through a rough 85-45 loss at the hands of Texas Lions HomeSchool. New Way Christian Academy was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 50-15.
Texas Lions HomeSchool's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Chrystine Martinez, who scored 24 points. Martinez continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Baylor Amthor, who scored 22 points.
New Way Christian Academy are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-6. As for Texas Lions HomeSchool, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 21-3 record this season.
New Way Christian Academy on the road again on Saturday and play against Austin Royals HomeSchool at 8:00 a.m. on January 13th. As for Texas Lions HomeSchool, Texas Lions HomeSchool and Heritage Christian Athletics will face off at 2:30 p.m. on January 12th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Heritage Christian Athletics is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.
