The biggest upset of the week belonged to Williston Northampton, who defeated 40th ranked Tabor Academy, 46-20. Ledell Robinson threw for 124 yards and 1 touchdown and ran for 164 yards during the win.
The Wildcats were able to crack the Top 25 in the state rankings this week after topping the Seawolves. Williston Northampton came in at 19 in the state poll after placing at number 97 last week.
Suffield Academy's dynamic duo of Endy Sanchez and Tahj Herring proved tough for St. Thomas More to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Sanchez threw for 123 yards and 2 touchdowns and Herring had 69 yards receiving. Drew Mahoney helped Suffield Academy's passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 25 yards.
Robinson provided a threat through the air and on the ground as Mark Conroy's team defeated Tabor Academy.
6-foot-4 quarterback Patrick Kehoe of Cheshire Academy is the league leader in passing yards this season with 2,292. He has also thrown 28 touchdowns. The leading receiver in the league this season is Sam Blake. The Williston Northampton star has 26 catches for 518 yards.
The Wildcats moved up to 19 from 97 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Colonial. Williston Northampton climbed the ranks as a result of topping William Hrasky's team 46-20.
