Paden had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.2 runs) and they went ahead and made it seven on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Wewoka Tigers with a sharp 19-4 victory. The result was nothing new for the Pirates, who have now won four games by ten runs or more so far this season.

Paden let Mason Lee and Kanin Case run wild. Lee scored four runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3, while Case went 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. Those four runs gave Lee a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Axl Grounds, who scored three runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Paden always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .576. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Paden's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-1. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.8 runs over those games. As for Wewoka, they are on an 11-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.

Coincidentally, Paden and Wewoka will both be playing Wetumka the next time they take the field. The Tigers will host the Chieftains at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Pirates will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
