The Floydada Whirlwinds will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against the Hale Center Owls at 6:15 p.m. on December 12th. Hopefully Floydada is not getting complacent, as they presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Hale Center in Texas (Floydada is ranked 170th, while Hale Center is ranked 435th).
Last Saturday, Floydada beat Childress 50-40.
Meanwhile, Hale Center sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 46-43 win over Ropes on Tuesday.
Floydada is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season. As for Hale Center, their win bumped their record up to 9-6.
Floydada was able to grind out a solid win over Hale Center in their previous matchup last Saturday, winning 43-34. Will Floydada repeat their success, or does Hale Center have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
