The Fremont Silverwolves's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their third straight loss. They fell just short of Bountiful by a score of 55-53.
Despite the loss, Fremont had strong showings from Hunter Hansen, who scored 19 points, and Ryan Furgeson, who scored 16 points. The contest was Hansen's tenth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Tyler Allen, who scored eight points.
Fremont's defeat was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 6-4. As for Bountiful, their victory bumped their record up to 5-2.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fremont won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Sky View at 7:00 p.m. on December 21st. Hopefully Sky View focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up nine last Saturday. Bountiful will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Box Elder at 7:00 p.m. on January 3, 2024.
