The Blue Mountain Eagles will challenge the Tamaqua Raiders at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Blue Mountain will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.
The scorekeeper got an easy start on Friday as neither Blue Mountain nor Hazleton Area made it on the board until the fifth inning. The Eagles never let the Cougars get on the board and left with a 4-0 victory.

Not much got past Emily Leonard, who gave up just two hits and racked up nine Ks to keep Hazleton Area off the board. Leonard has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in 11 consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Addyson Fishburn, who went 2-for-4 with three stolen bases and one run. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last nine games she's played. Anna Borden was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Tamaqua, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Our Lady of Lourdes Regional on Thursday as they made off with an 11-5 win. The victory continues a trend for the Raiders in their matchups with the Red Raiders: they've now won four in a row.
Peyton Faust spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and four unearned) runs on five hits and racked up 14 Ks.
At the plate, Nico Conahan was incredible, going 4-for-5 with three runs, three doubles, and one RBI. Those three doubles gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Ceanna Gormley, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI and two runs.
Blue Mountain's win bumped their record up to 15-1. As for Tamaqua, their victory bumped their record up to 10-8.
Blue Mountain was able to grind out a solid win over Tamaqua when the teams last played on April 2nd, winning 5-1. Will the Eagles repeat their success, or do the Raiders have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
