Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Mogollon walked away with it. They were the clear victor by a 40-19 margin over the Duncan Wildkats on Friday. The Mustangs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 16 contests by 21 points or more this season.

Mogollon's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 21-7. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 23.2 points over those games. As for Duncan, their loss dropped their record down to 22-7.

Coming up, Mogollon and Fort Thomas will face off at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest, having both just played. Fort Thomas will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something Mogollon surely won't give up without a fight. Duncan does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
