The LAMP Golden Tigers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their sixth straight loss. They took a serious blow against Booker T. Washington, falling 58-17. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points LAMP has scored all season.
Booker T. Washington found their leader in underclassman Dylan Purter, who scored 17 points along with six rebounds and four steals. It was the first time this season that Purter scored 15 or more points. Marquez Daniels was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with eight rebounds and three blocks.
LAMP has traveled a rocky road recently having lost ten of their last 12 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-14 record this season. As for Booker T. Washington, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-10.
LAMP will head out on the road to take on the Golden Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Booker T. Washington is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 51.4 points per game this season. As for they, they will look to defend their home court against LAMP at 7:30 p.m. LAMP will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Alabama Rankings (they are ranked 336th, while the Golden Eagles are ranked 166th).
