Twin Peaks Charter Academy was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Poudre Community Academy apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2023.
Twin Peaks Charter Academy lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Yannis Diby, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 12 rebounds. Diby is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last nine games he's played. Another player making a difference was Matthew Wurth, who scored eight points along with five rebounds.
Twin Peaks Charter Academy struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only three offensive rebounds. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as Poudre Community Academy pulled down 11 offensive rebounds.
Poudre Community Academy got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Ian Voetelink out in front who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 13 rebounds. Voetelink is absolutely dominating the block category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Miguel Apolonio, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 14 rebounds.
Twin Peaks Charter Academy has not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season. As for Poudre Community Academy, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-2.
