With a playoff game on the line, the Master's Academy Eagles rose to the challenge on Wednesday. They claimed a resounding 88-60 victory over the Raiders on the road. Master's Academy has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matches by 20 points or more this season.
It was another big night for Dylan Labuhn, who scored 22 points along with five steals. Scott Verboncoeur was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 16 points and ten rebounds.
The victory was the fifth in a row for Master's Academy, bringing their record for this year to 16-9. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.6 points per game. As for Crescent City, they have not been sharp recently as the team has lost nine of their last ten contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-18 record this season.
Master's Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 54-36 win vs. Father Lopez on the 9th. Crescent City does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
