On Friday Lynnwood take on Edmonds-Woodway at 8:00 PM. Both teams have had a rocky road up to this point with four consecutive losses apiece.
We expected Lynnwood to have trouble with the significantly higher ranked Juanita last Friday, and they did. Lynnwood have to be aching after a bruising 21-53 loss to Juanita. Lynnwood got a solid performance out of sophomore Christian Kirkman, who accumulated 188 passing yards and punched in 1 rushing TD; unfortunately, it just wasn't enough for the victory.
Meanwhile, Edmonds-Woodway found themselves the reluctant recipients of an unpleasant 20-41 punch to the gut against Meadowdale. Edmonds-Woodway were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 7-27.
