Volleyball Recap: Dewey Wins Going Away Against Sperry

Dewey won the last time they faced Sperry and things went their way on Thursday too. The Bulldoggers put the hurt on the Pirates with a sharp 3-0 victory. That three set margin sets a new team best for the Bulldoggers this season.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Dewey took every set by at least 12 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-7, 25-5.

Dewey is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-2-2 record this season. As for Sperry, they now have a losing record of 6-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Dewey will head out to face off against Sequoyah at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Sperry, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Berryhill at 7:00 p.m. on the 30th.
