It was a good run, but Anderson County unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 6-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Osawatomie Trojans. The Bulldogs were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Trojans earlier this season, when they won 3-0.

Anderson County saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aleck Smith, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Anderson County's loss dropped their record down to 6-2. As for Osawatomie, their win ended a seven-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 5-1.

Looking ahead, Anderson County will host Olpe on Monday. As for Osawatomie, they will head out to challenge Baldwin at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
