On Thursday, Northern Virginia HomeSchool didn't have too much trouble with the on the road as they won 63-46. With that victory, Northern Virginia HomeSchool brought their scoring average up to 50.8 points per game.
Joshua/khase Anderson was a one-man wrecking crew for Northern Virginia HomeSchool as he scored 15 points along with two steals and two blocks. It was the first time this season that Anderson scored 15 or more points. Jacob Gresham was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
When it comes to explaining why Christ Chapel Academy lost, one person who can't be blamed is David Neaves. Despite the final result, he scored 26 points along with three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Noah Willis, who scored eight points.
Northern Virginia HomeSchool is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season. As for Christ Chapel Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Northern Virginia HomeSchool will take on the Saints at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. St. John's S will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Virginia Rankings (they are ranked 311th, while the Centurions are ranked 137th). As for Christ Chapel Academy, they have the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on February 5th. Dominion Christian is no doubt hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
